RiverEdge Park Construction Updates
The City of Aurora started construction on the future RiverEdge Park, which will serve as a regional attraction for community events and help bolster economic development in the downtown. RiverEdge Park will be located along the Fox River between New York Street and Illinois Avenue. Check back monthly for the latest construction updates on the park.
Winter Update
- You may not see a lot of external activity over the winter, this work will resume in the spring.
- Furniture, fixtures and equipment will be purchased and installed over the winter.
- Keep a look out for changing light displays on the sound wall along Broadway.
- Our next update will be in the spring, but rest assured that RiverEdge Park is on track to open with “Blues on the Fox” in June!
