Ricochet, an exhibit featuring ten Waubonsee Community College mentors
The Aurora Public Art Commission, in partnership with the Waubonsee Community College Art Department will present Ricochet, an exhibit featuring ten Waubonsee Community College mentors along with ten current and former students. This exhibit will be on display at the Aurora Public Art Commission from June 12 through July 26, 2009. The opening reception for Ricochet will be Friday, June 12, 2009, from 5:00-7:30 pm. The reception will include live music by the Papo Trio, light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

he Aurora Public Art Commission presents The Human Condition, photographs by Samantha Oulavong and her students from Nicaragua, Haiti and Cambodia. This exhibit will be on display from June 12 through August 30, 2009. The opening reception for The Human condition will be Friday, June 12 from 5:00-7:30 pm. The reception will include light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
Aurora Public Art Commission Sculpture Garden 2009

The Aurora Public Art Commission will present works by three sculptors in the Aurora Public Art Commission Sculpture Garden at 20 East Downer Place, adjacent to the APAC Gallery. James Jenkins, Joseph Gagnepain and Marcus Mason will display large scale sculptures from June 12 through October 18, 2009. The opening reception for this exhibit will be June 12 from 5:00-7:30 pm. The reception will include musical entertainment by guitarist John Ivan. Light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available on the first and third floors of the APAC Gallery.
