Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP)
The City of Aurora received $3,083,568, through the federal Housing and Economic Recovery Act (HERA) of 2008 Neighborhood Stabilization Program to acquire and redevelop foreclosed properties, reducing incidents of abandonment and blight within our community. Rental Housing
The Community Housing Association of DuPage (CHAD) has partnered with the City by purchasing and rehabbing homes to be rented to households whose income does not exceed 50% of the Area Median. www.chadhousing.org.
